Abstract
One strategy for verifying information integrity when merging vulnerable information is to identify and discard altered or falsified information. With this in mind, this work focuses on the definition of a type of conflict, known as coherent, and the construction of an associated coherent merge rule. the construction of an associated coherent fusion rule. The limits of classical conflict are shown by a standard example, and finally the effectiveness of the coherent conflict metric in a numerical application.
