The Naval World at the Heart of Research

The Naval Systems Cyber Defense Chair is at the heart of a highly sensitive and strategically important scientific and industrial ecosystem, driven by issues of cyberattacks and criminal activities in the maritime environment.
Created in October 2014 under the supervision of the French Navy as part of the cyber action plan decided by the Minister of the Armed Forces, the Chair enjoys strong legitimacy in the naval sector. Our two industrial partners, Naval Group and Thales (leaders in their sector), and our 15 research professors (scientific experts in cyber defense) strengthen the Chair's cyber expertise.
