Pedro Merino Laso

Pedro MERINO LASO is a research fellow at the École Nationale Supérieure Maritime (ENSM). He has been doing research in the field of maritime cybersecurity at this school since 2018 dealing with a variety of subjects: autonomous ships, risk analyses, attack detection, sailor training…

Previously, he completed his PhD in the Naval Systems Cyber Defense Chair based at the École Navale in partnership with IMT Atlantique, Thales and Naval Group. His thesis work dealt with the detection of malfunctions and malicious acts in sensor data streams.
